Madsen turns 1!

Madsen turned 1 this past week and had two parties. He loved to dive in the cakes and have all sorts of new things to play with.

Easter

All dressed up for church. Madsen lasted about 10 minutes and we were off to Einsteins.


Madsen found his Easter basket! He was rather excited.

Jason's parents had an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids. It was fun and Madsen found lots of eggs.

And then he decided he better open them up and try one.

Easter Baking

Julia was having guests over for dinner and we decided to get a little crafty on the dessert. I thought I would post a pic of our lovely bunny.

A Sunny Vacation

We went to Arizona this week to see my brother and his family. Jason joined us on the weekend and we had a lot of fun. Madsen was quite the stinker and earned himself a my name is trouble t shirt.

These two together was bad news. Madsen would scream (so annoying) and it would make Ben cry. Then Madsen would cry. Oh man I can't wait until they are friends and not bugging each other. The baby sitters told us that they had to separate them and then they were fine.

A night out without Madsen. We went to the Indian Casino, out to a nice dinner and then to the mall.

Grandma Boo (Mika as Kate calls her) gave Kate a jeep for her 3rd Birthday while we were there. Kate was so excited that she "helped" her dad put it together and could not wait to drive it. The battery had to charge for 18 hours. It was the last thing she did before bed and the first thing she went for in the morning. When the battery was finally charged she hopped in with her dog Todd and was ready to go. One push of the gas and she jumped out and would not go near it. Funny kid.

Madsen would have loved her to take him for a ride but she refused. Madsen in a Barbie jeep....trouble.
