We took Madsen to the fire station since he is obsessed with woo woo's. He was being a goof - but he had a good time. Thanks for the idea Jenny.










This summer we went to San Diego with my family for our annual trip. We stayed at the Hotel Del. It was incredible. One day we went to Lego Land. Apparently I only had my camera for this day.... We also went to the beach for a fire pit and smores, shopped the town, and hung out by the pool. Oh yeah that just reminded me- I put my camera in the diaper bag and a water spilled on it and broke it. dang. That is why I only have photos of the first day!


Jason's Grandma turned 90 this summer. His mom and her siblings threw a big reunion party.

Madsen had his first shot at golfing 9 holes. Jason stayed for 18 and Madsen did not want to leave when I came to get him after 9. He drove the cart, drank rootbeer and hit a few shots here and there. That sounds like my kind of golf.



We decided it was time to Madsen to give up his crib for Ruby. I guess he was a little too big for it anyway. Poor guy fell asleep in a tight yoga position. He loves his big bed and adjusted quite nicely.




Jason and I went to Nic Johnson's wedding in Denver. Jason was the best man. We stayed in downtown Denver. It was a lot of fun. We didn't take the little ones with us. We went shopping, found a casino town, went out to eat and had many wedding festivities. I need to find some photos from the wedding- it was a real party!

Ruby is just over 3 months. I am the worst blogger but I thought I could handle posting a pic today.

Ruby in her blessing dress. She looked so cute and was so happy. She cried for just a minute because she did not want to wear her shoes. So off they came. Dang- they were cute.

Madsen is 2

Madsen turned two on May 14th. He loves to golf, shoot hoops, run around and eat otter pops. Madsen is so nice to his sister and says funny things all day long. Happy Birthday!!

A little update

Ruby is 7 weeks old- she smiles and is so alert. She is a good baby and we love having her around!


While I had Ruby in the bath this morning- Madsen put himself to work. He pulled a chair over and emptied the silverware drawer into the sink, then he found a bag of granola and spread it all around. I guess he thought I was bored and needed something to clean up. Thanks Madsen!

Happy Easter

Madsen had a full day of Easter baskets, a hunt and playing golf. Here he is drooling his jelly beans while attempting paddle ball. I think my brother Jamie is the only person I know that can do one of those things. Madsen hit himself in the head several times.
